Sparrebosch – Forecastle Road

We decided at the end of 2001 to build a new house at Sparrebosch Golf
Estate. After buying the erf we looked around at the houses at Sparrebosch
and we liked the architectural style of Tom Joyce, a local Knysna architect.
After Tom Joyce completed the design we looked around for a quality builder
to builder to build our house. We decided to use Clico Construction, as we
were confident after seeing his workmanship that he could deliver the
finished product that we required for our house.
Clico Construction started in June 2002 and completed the house in February
2003. We are more than satisfied with the quality workmanship and the
co-operation between Tom Joyce, the architect and Clive Bouwer from Clico
Construction. We were very happy with Clive’s personal commitment to quality
and his continuous presence on the building site. Clive still has the
approach of giving personal attention to detail.
When we took the house over, we had 6 items on the crit list. This list was
worked off soon after we moved into the house. It was a pleasure to work and
deal with Clive and Tom.
We most certainly recommend Clico Construction to any future home builder.
