Sparrebosch – Forecastle Road 1

I was first introduced to Clive Bouwer of Clico Construction in October 2003
by the architects designing our house for development at Forecastle Road,
Sparrebosch – now the Pezula Golf Estate.
I was immediately impressed by Clive’s good nature, enthusiasm and long list
of completed projects – many of which on Sparrebosch – all of which were
contained in Clico’s marketing brochure. I was very impressed by the fact
that Clico a) had a brochure – I do not know of another Knysna builder that
has one and b) that Clico were very keen to seek the comments of their own
clients – going so far as to ask all of them for reference letters. This
first project was completed pretty much on time, on budget and entirely to
the satisfaction of my wife and myself.
We have lived at No.8 Forecastle Road ever since and I am pleased to report
that the house has performed fantastically. Since the completion of the
first house, my company has awarded Clico Construction 3 further contracts –
one on Pezula Private Estate (a house of 550 sq m) and 2 on Thesen Island
(total sq m – 720). It is our intention to continue to use Clico
Construction for all our Knysna based developments.
Finally, it would be wrong to omit to mention of Clive’s fantastic backup
staff – especially Anthea – who must be the finest admin lady in Knysna!
